I know I shouldn’t care, but what are some good ways to grow taller?
Here are a little facts to get some background info:
-My grandfather smoked near my dad. My dad started balding by twenty and is 5′9". His younger brother, who my grandfather decided to stop smoking in front of, has a full head of hair and is 6′2".
-I had my period a month before I was fourteen. I am currently fourteen and nine months. (I just heard women stop growing two years after their period.)
-I have been taking the flintstones vitamins on the weekdays, and one-a-day women’s on the weekdays.
-I get 8 1/2-9 hours of sleep.
-The doctor said I’m supposed to be 5′6".
-I’ve been 5′3" for about six months or maybe more.
So I’m wondering if there are any "diets" that I should be aware of that help my growing go along, any special multivitamins I should take, if I should increase my calcium, iron, or something-intake. Please, no "Well, there’s a pill that can kill you." or "Your tall, beach.". I slightly want to do this to prove my cousin (daughter of my dad’s …(cont.)
(cont.)…younger brother) Wrong.
Thanks for any info!
Height is determined genetically. Some older ancesters may not have been that tall. I’ve too read that girls stop growing once they attain puberty, but my kid gained 4" after puberty. You need 2 eat well - lots of protein and exercise. Exercise releases growth hormones, so go ahead swim, cycle, play basketball, strech exercises - these are bound to help.Get someone 2 teach u yoga, certain ‘asanas’ in yoga help in growth.
